The Islamic World Science Citation Database, by examining the performance of Iranian researchers in the fields of humanities, social sciences, arts and architecture for the 5-year period (2013 to 2017), has identified 78 of the most prominent researchers in 12 different fields of humanities, social sciences, arts and architecture. The share of different disciplines of highly cited researchers is not the same and is a function of the total number of citations as well as the number of researchers in each discipline. The largest share and number of well-cited researchers belong to the fields of management, educational sciences, economics and finance, social sciences, literature, psychology and geography, respectively.

According to this report, Dr. Hassan Danaeifard, Dr. Adel Azar, Dr. Asghar Moshabaki in the field of management, Dr. Mahnaz Shayestehfar in the field of art and architecture, Dr. Mohammad Ehsani in the field of physical education, Dr. Abdolreza Roknoddin Eftekhari and Dr. Mehdi Pourtaheri in the field of geography, Dr. Ferdows Agha Golzadeh, Dr. Alieh Kurd Zaferanloo, Dr. Arsalan Golfam, Dr. Hamidreza Shairi and Dr. Khalil Parvini in the field of literature and languages, Dr. Seyed Hossein Sadeghi in the field of economics and finance and Dr. Mahmoud Mehr Mohammadi in the field of educational sciences, are 14 academic members of the Tarbiat Modares University, which are among the top researchers in the country.
