Exquisite Thousand-Year-Old "Door" Recognition by the Faculty of Art

Summary:

The university faculty announced the discovery and identification of the "door" belonging to Imamzadeh Hamzeh in Dahdasht and said: "Two years ago I saw a door in the National Museum “Ancient Iran”, where the discovery of that door was mentioned in Behbahan city, but historical and architectural studies and studies show this "door" could not belong to a building in Behbahan.
The inscriptions on the door belong to the fifth century, but it was not clear to what building or period. Examination of the inscriptions on the door as well as the similarity of the architecture of the Imamzadeh dome with a monument in the Ab-Kuh belonging to the El Buyeh period, confirms that it dates back to the Al Buyeh period.
By studying and comparing the monuments of Behbahan, it was unlikely to be related to the age of monuments in Behbahan. During the investigation, interesting information about the relocation of Imamzadeh's door to the city of Behbahan in 1320 was obtained.
